Pharmacy Technician

General summary:

We are an independent, family-owned retail compounding pharmacy in Fishtown, Philadelphia, looking for an enthusiastic and creative person to join our team.

If you have pharmacy experience (not required), we will discuss how we can best utilize your skills.

If you have no pharmacy experience, your initial role will be running the register and assisting patients.

We are looking for someone who is driven and can bring a good attitude and positive energy to the pharmacy. If you excel in a fast-paced environment and are motivated, this job is for you!

Primary Duties & Requirements:

  • Running the register
  • Making delivery calls and other communications with patients
  • Inventory Management
  • Doing miscellaneous tasks and runnings errands as assigned
  • Learning and growing into tech duties (counting pills, answering emails and text messages, answering the phone)
  • Must be able to stand for an 8 hour shift
  • Lifting up to 25 lbs

Experience/Qualifications:

  • Communication! We pride ourselves in having a direct impact on our community, and advocating for patient’s needs.
  • Customer Service
  • Technological competency - ability to email/text
  • Experience with POS/cash handling

Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday (10 am to 6 pm)
  • Saturdays as needed (10 am to 2 pm)
  • Full time (40 hrs per week)
