Wetroom CNC Setup Operator

Perform timely operative supply chain activities based on established procedures and practices within own area of expertise. Summary: Program, Setup and operate CNC Bevel, Auto Sharpen and Manual Serration machines. Essential Functions: Wetroom CNC Machine Setup Operator Tier 1 Assist with gathering materials and appropriate parts/components for each work order Read, review and understand print/schematic and instructions Ability to use and understand micrometers, calipers, overlays, pin gages and other hand measurement devices and document recorded dimensions and activities on proper documents Correctly setup and troubleshoot at least 1 machine as listed above Knows when and is able to change and dress (if applicable) wheels Able to perform general machine maintenance Ensure conformance with cosmetic and functional specifications Rework product as needed Other duties as implied or assigned Wetroom CNC Machine Setup Operator Tier 2 Correctly setup and troubleshoot 2 of the machines listed above Knows when and is able to change and dress (if applicable) wheels on 2 of the machines listed above Wetroom CNC Machine Setup Operator Tier 3 Correctly setup and troubleshoot all of the machines listed above Knows when and is able to change and dress (when applicable) wheels on all of the machines listed above Wetroom CNC Machine Setup Operator Tier 4 Able to create and adjust new programs on all of the machines listed above Wetroom CNC Machine Setup Operator Tier 5 - Lead 3 Coordinate work order completion to meet planning requirements Communicate department challenges and concerns to supervisor Assist manager and/or supervisor with training of Wetroom staff Research and resolve problems associated with Wetroom operations Accurately prepare and maintain documentation and databases used in Wetroom Work with other departments to resolve problems Assist in prioritizing work assignments and work loads Assist with monitoring and maintaining FIFO and Kanban system in Wetroom Education and Experience Qualifications: PC skills Knowledge of G, M Code and program parameters Leadership Skills (Lead position) Strong oral and written communication skills (Lead position) Meets housekeeping requirements Performs work with regard to safety and ergonomic requirements Able to recognize, count and match numbers Able to read orders and safety signs Able to read, speak and understand work instructions given in English Able to work well with others Able to cross train and assist others with training Attention to detail Physical Requirements: Occasionally – up to 33% of the time; approx.0 – 2.5 hours/day Frequently – between 33% and 66% of the time; approx. 2.5 – 5.5 hours/day Constantly – more than 66% of the time; approx. 5.5 hours/day Lifting – (35 lbs.): Frequently Pushing/Pulling: Occasionally Hearing: Frequently Seeing-near: Frequently Seeing-far: Frequently Standing: Constantly Walking: Frequently Sitting: Occasionally Grasping/Fingering: Constantly Reaching Outward: Frequently Reaching Above Shoulder: Occasionally Climbing: Occasionally Crawling: Occasionally Squatting/Kneeling: Occasionally Bending: Occasionally Work Environment: Clean, well-lit manufacturing environment.
