Role Overview Fisker Group Inc. is looking for an experienced Automotive Warranty Manager who will be responsible for timely processing and administration of warranty claims, and goodwill requests submitted by our service providers. This role will manage the development of training material for warranty associates as well as service providers, evaluate claim processing strategies and develop improvements as needed. Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws plus interface using data and facts to help identify risks, manage resources, and solve problems effectively. Ensure service center compliance with Warranty policy, procedures and claim submissions to foster accountability of operational performance with adherence to proper repair procedures. Duties and Responsibilities: Identify & develop processes to reduce warranty costs and improve customer satisfaction through streamlined claim processing or policy adjustments. Provide constructive feedback and solutions to Service partners when submitted claims are rejected or reduced to improve future claim submissions. Collaborate with Service, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams in US and Europe to investigate field issues affecting warranty and customer satisfaction. Be the warranty subject matter expert to support warranty related activities, analysis, resolution, and training. Monitor claim trends and field reports for timely identification of new product issues and policy compliance. Effective communication of key issues or trends to quickly and escalate need for resolution in an urgent but professional manner. Investigate and resolve any warranty disputes with service providers. Identify and quantify supplier related issues for cost recovery. Publish regular warranty updates to service providers for more efficient claim processing. Perform warranty audits and lead in the implementation of required process improvements. Minimum Qualifications: Associate degree in Automotive Technology or Business Management - with Electric Vehicle Technology experience as a plus. Seven years of experience in Automotive Service or Warranty Management or Auditing. Familiar with SAP based Warranty Claim processing applications. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in related area, with five or more years of EV or premium automotive service experience. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Competencies Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and data analysis skills with success working cross-functionally to implement solutions that address new issues. Completion of OEM warranty reporting system training, SAP experience is a plus. Familiarity with assessing and repairing of vehicles in the areas of Body, Powertrain, Electrical and Interior issues. Demonstrated strong data analytics, process development, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. High degree of computer skills to analyze data and produce reports including financial forecasting. Mastery of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Ability to work independently, without direct supervision. Strong communication skills to work with internal and external partners at all levels within the organization. Ability to perform in a high-pressure environment and be able to meet tight deadlines. Willingness to take ownership of jobs and work independently beyond assigned position to successfully complete them. Fluent in spoken and written English, with German additional European language skills as a plus. Must have ability to handle confidential matters and information, strong business acumen. Willingness to work as part of a team to develop a culture of innovation, excellence, and openness. Working Conditions: Must be willing to travel both domestically, as well as internationally, as required Must be willing to work overtime and on weekends as needed to meet deadlines and goals Exposed to service workshop environment that requires lifting moderate weights, standing for long hours, wearing personal protective equipment, etc. Fisker Group Inc.
