The Role
As FITURE's Production Assistant you will play a critical role on the Fiture Production Team. It is an administrative and creative position that supports the Production team with distributing media assets as well as collaborating with the team to suggest and internally produce content. It requires great attention to detail, creative drive, and a proactive attitude. The ideal candidate will work well under pressure, apply critical thinking to their tasks, and will possess the ability to prioritize requests from multiple departments as needs arise.Key Responsibilities
- Supporting creative directors, producers, and project managers’ requests via heavy communication
- Fielding requests from multiple departments and individuals
- Frequent document creation, maintenance, and distribution of asset management
- Works with show production, post department, development team, shoots team, and the Post team to procure, organize and maintain all assets related to the production of the shows or projects the team is working on
- Locate, organize, and traffic all assets to production facilities (both internally and externally) via digital delivery
- Facilitate requests with internal media asset management and post-production teams
- Storage Area Network Maintenance & Organization of all final and clean promotional assets
- Assist with the segmentation of AI classes in a post or change configuration live for AI segmentation, depending upon which protocol is employed
- Act as the ‘Guardian’ of the daily filming schedule to ensure the class schedule is adhered to meticulously
- Act as the conduit between the Control Room / Production Technicians and the studio floor
- Check Instructor and PA equipment in the Control Room and Studio is in working order and fully charged prior to filming e.g. Microphones, backup mics, batteries, monitors, and laptops.
- Mic up the Instructors prior to filming
- Watch all classes being filmed from the PA Monitor
- Other ad-hoc proejcts
- Strong Video Post-Production knowledge and editing skills (ideally Adobe Creative Suite)
- Sense of urgency and ability to prioritize projects/tasks through asking questions
- Strong work ethic - does not easily leave something uncompleted
- Strong organizational skills
- General aptitude and genuine interest in software and technology
- Mac Proficiency
- Ability to work with tight time constraints and multiple simultaneous projects
- Aptitude for working well under pressure
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Applications
- Love of fitness encouraged, not required
Additional Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 1-year experience in production or postproduction
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends on short notice
- Must be willing to work on location in New York City, NY
Note: This role may require work on some evenings, weekends, and holidays.
