They specialize in mobile workspace systems, modular storage systems for work trucks, service bodies, vans, and trailers. They are dedicated to providing solutions, that are delivered on budget and on time, every time.
Quality Control Lead
As a key member of the manufacturing team, you’ll report to the Operations Site Manager. You’ll be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of the manufacturing team to meet the required quality standards of finished products.
Responsibilities
- Identify areas in need of process or method modification and staff training
- Create and revise SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) as required
- Develop a system for efficiently and effectively assessing the quality of products
- Identify product defects, report issues, and record all findings
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) regarding policies, procedures, processes, and regulations to support process improvements
This is a full-time permanent position based in their Watertown, NY manufacturing facility. In addition to a competitive base salary, you’ll enjoy a benefits package, a 401K matching plan, overtime after 40 hours, a safety equipment allowance, an option to join the uniform program, and vacation.
Qualifications
- Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma
- 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar role, within a manufacturing environment
- High level of computer literacy
- Exposure to systems such as ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), WMS (warehouse management system) Epicor, and SAP
- Knowledgeable in GMPs, MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) now SDS CFR, and other state and federal regulatory requirements
- Previous experience creating procedures and process documentation
