About The Role
Fjallraven has an opportunity for a retail buyer to help bring retail merchandising strategies to life for our stores. As the Retail Buyer for Fjällräven North America’s Direct-to-User Channel, you will develop and execute retail merchandising strategies that optimize sales, margin, inventory turnover, and financial goals. You will drive and implement the planning, forecasting, and distribution for Fjällräven and our other Fenix Outdoor family of premium outdoor brands. Your strong analytical and reporting skills will be a great asset when analyzing historic sales and market trends to predict product opportunities. You will work directly with our brick-and-mortar store and e-commerce store teams and cross-functionally with other business functions to develop and implement these strategies for the merchandise financial and store assortment plans.
This full-time, exempt position is based out of our offices in Louisville, CO, and reports to the Senior Merchandise Manager.

About The Role

This full-time, exempt position is based out of our offices in Louisville, CO, and reports to the Senior Merchandise Manager.
What You Will Do
- Own the buying process for our Direct-to-User channel, including seasonal purchases, assortments, and life cycle management.
- Develop data-driven merchandising plans that optimize sales, margins, and inventory.
- Partner with store and e-commerce teams to create winning seasonal assortments and promotions.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify new product opportunities.
- Travel to stores (approx. 15%) to gain insights and build relationships.
- A retail buying pro with 5 years of experience, ideally in multi-store apparel or footwear.
- Someone who has a degree in Business Administration, Fashion/Merchandising, or other related field (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
- A data whiz with a knack for analyzing trends and making informed decisions, including the use of retail math
- A team player with excellent communication skills (written & verbal), including strong skills in Microsoft Office
- A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Someone who is willing and able to travel (estimated 15% of the time)
- A passionate outdoor enthusiast (a plus!)
