Job Posting for 3rd Shift Sanitation at Flag Solutions
3rd Shift 10:00pm-6:30am
Sunday-Thursday.
Washes process and non-process areas by foaming, scrubbing and sanitizing walls, floors, tanks (inside and outside). Must follow GMP sanitation guidelines and safety procedures; is responsible for completing any record keeping required by and according to the Master Sanitation Schedule. This individual must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in ways that foster good relationships with vendors, customers, co-workers and supervisors, while achieving and enhancing performance standards.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Set up pumps, hoses for necessary CIP connections
- Follow daily, weekly, monthly and annual sanitation program.
- Work with Supervisor or Lead to ensure that Master Sanitation Schedule is completed and paperwork is in order.
- Remove trash from all trash containers in production and outside areas and wash containers as needed, following Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP's).
- Perform proper dilutions of cleaning chemicals.
- Pick up debris in all areas of the plant, in accordance with daily SSOP's.
- May lift 55 pounds frequently.
- Constant use of arms, legs and hands, walking, bending and moving throughout the work shift.
- Regular, punctual attendance.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Lead.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to speak, read and write English.
- Must keep all sanitation paperwork and sanitation log in order.
- Must wear the following PPE: Safety Glasses, Apron, Heat/Chemical Resistant Gloves, Goggles, Bump Cap, Steel toe Boots
- Must be familiar with CIP Procedures
- Must have knowledge of Sanitation Procedures such as: ATP swab testing, preparation and testing cleaning and sanitizing solutions.
