Summary
This candidate will be responsible for managing and directing the IT department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality technology services and solutions that meet the needs of the business.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement IT strategies and initiatives that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Manage and direct the IT department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality technology services and solutions that meet the needs of the business.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including the design, development, and maintenance of all systems, applications, and network infrastructure.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the security, availability, and integrity of all company data and systems.
- Identify and implement emerging technologies that can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the company's operations.
- Manage IT budgets, resources, and staffing requirements to ensure that the department operates efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborate with other departmental heads to understand business needs and develop technology solutions that meet those needs.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure that the company receives the best possible value from its technology investments.
- Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure the company can continue to operate in the event of a system failure or other disruption.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or other related fields.
- 10 years relevant experience, 5 in a sr management role.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing IT strategies and initiatives that align with business objectives.
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure, systems architecture, and cloud computing.
- Excellent leadership, management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other departmental heads to understand business needs and develop technology solutions that meet those needs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in managing budgets, resources, and staffing requirements.
- Strong understanding of data security, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
- Experience in negotiating vendor contracts and managing vendor relationships as it relates to IT.
