Overall Responsibility
The Communications and Volunteer Manager in collaboration with the Development Director works to raise the profile of Flance Early Learning Center in the general community as well as in the corporate and business communities. The Communications and Volunteer Manager is integral in the effort to bring new support and awareness of Flance programs to new audiences.

The ideal candidate will be mature, creative, energetic, organized, accountable and comfortable interacting with and leading people. The position requires an individual with the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations; who has the ability to prioritize tasks and activities to accomplish goals; and will have flexibility to attend evening and/or weekend meetings and events. Environmental Factors
Indoor, primarily works in an office. Noise and activity levels can be high; staff, visitors, families and children come and go at all times. May have to drop work in order to attend to a crisis. Position requires, COVID vaccination, health screen, annual Family Safety Registry background check and fingerprinting. Flance Center is a busy, unique environment. Employees are expected to participate fully in the life of the Center. All employees must be able to lift 25 lbs. in the event of an evacuation or emergency.
Education/Experience
