Overview
As the Assistant Contracts and Risk Manager, you will support the pre-bid proposal and construction contract review process by identifying, evaluating and proposing mitigation to any risks during the project pursuit and bid phase.
What you will be doing
Analyzes proposal and contract documents for low level risk profile contracts to identify risks and opportunities.
Identifies and recommends risk mitigation and risk transfer opportunities in close collaboration with the operational pursuit teams, business development, legal, insurance, and procurement.
Coordinates all risk review and management activities throughout the various Bid Review Committee (BRC) phases to ensure all key risks resolved by time of bid delivery.
Attends and documents pursuit evaluations meetings and contract review discussions.
Manages all pursuit evaluation documentations and VantagePoint data regarding project reviews and approvals.
Develops trustful relationships key with stakeholders in estimating, business development, operations, and create alignment on the Company’s risk management philosophies.
Maintains knowledge of Company’s values and strategic plan.
Perform additional assignments per management’s direction.
What we are looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management or related field required.
2 years’ experience with construction project contracts preferred.
Experience with contracts, negotiations, pursuit management preferred.
Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking skills required.
Excellent verbal and written skills required.
Strong collaboration and team player attitude.
