Summary:

Flatter, Inc. (Flatter) is hiring a Marketing and Business Development Coordinator. You will play an essential role in supporting our marketing and business development efforts. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in the field of marketing and business development, especially within the context of government contracts. You will assist in various tasks aimed at promoting our services, enhancing our market presence, and supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Marketing: Assist in creating and distributing marketing content aligned to the strategy/corresponding marketing campaigns, including website content, email marketing, social media content, case studies/insights, press releases, and graphics across selected channels.
  • Digital Marketing: Manage the company's online presence and engage on behalf of the company across various platforms, including social media channels, website, and digital business profiles.
  • Collateral Development: Assist in creation of marketing materials and updates as needed, including one pagers, briefing decks, promotional materials, and newsletters.
  • Event Coordination and Marketing: Support the planning, execution, and promotion of company events, trade shows, and conferences. This includes event planning sessions, coordinating event logistics, event materials and attending the event to ensure successful execution.
  • Business Development Support: Support business development efforts through relationship nurturing and networking events.
  • Proposal Support: Collaborate with the proposal team to assist in the preparation of proposals supporting graphics and messaging as needed, ensuring they are well-structured and align with government contracting requirements.
  • Internal Communications Support: Support internal communications and marketing to existing and prospective employees, helping to strengthen employee engagement through various initiatives and collaboration with HR.
  • Reporting and Metrics: Generate regular reports on marketing performance metrics and assist in analyzing data to track the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives, refining strategies as needed to maximize results.
  • Data Management and SOPs: Maintain and update marketing databases and marketing SOPs, including marketing SharePoint files, client information, leads, and contact lists as well as ongoing identification of process improvements/tools to increase efficiencies.

Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent copywriting and editing skills.
  • Possesses strong time management, organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Solution-oriented, collaborative worker with team-player mentality.
  • Possess knowledge and experience in effective marketing – content marketing, digital marketing and public relations.
  • Experience with design software and social media tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and digital marketing tools (e.g., HubSpot, Google Analytics).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of marketing channels and social media platforms and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.
  • Knowledge of government contracting regulations and compliance is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
