Responsibilities
Position highlights:
The Vendor Management Coordinator understands Fleet Feet’s mission, vision, and strategic plan and is responsible for maintaining and organizing the vendor activations process, priorities and summaries, collaborating cross-functionally to drive flawless, efficient and high-quality activations. Contributes to building out long range plans for vendor partners and supports in quarterly vendor partner reviews, with analysis on important metrics and delivery of feedback for growth and opportunities. Will facilitate collaboration between our franchisee community and vendor partners to extend benefits of vendor programs, provide franchisee feedback to vendors and find innovative ways to deepen the partnerships. Last, this position will provide support in planning Fleet Feet's National Conference along with general scheduling and coordination to keep the department functional and effective.
Position responsibilities:
- Lead vendor matrix – updating timeline, key stakeholders, activations and budget
- Partner cross-functionally with Purchasing, Marketing, and Retail Operations on the annual Vendor Partner Program.
- Track and collect invoices for paid vendor programs
- Pull together and analyze vendor report card to provide feedback and suggestions for growth opportunities and operational improvement
- Review critical metrics – sales growth, margin, turns/sell through, store anomalies
- Assist Vendor Management and Purchasing teams to build out annual plans for each vendor partner including sales, margin, receipts, and target turns
- Assist in the rollout of vendor programs to the franchisee communities
- Partner with Brand Managers (vendor) to ensure benefits and drive opt in rates
- Organize and share feedback of franchise wins/opportunities
- Communicate go to market strategy for key launches
- Brainstorming new and innovative growth strategies
- Assist in organizing and tracking of vendor commitments and facilitate communication between vendors and the team, as needed for the Fleet Feet Conference
Other tasks:
- Oversee assigned vendor partner pages within Franchise Connect (FranConnect) an internal SharePoint system that houses all relevant vendor partner sales programs, marketing assets, digital assets, MAP documents, and communicate to the brand when updated in a timely manner.
- Coordinate vendor partner office visits, work with vendor partners to activate across Store Support Team departments as needed, and assist with scheduling and calendar management
Qualifications
- Intermediate Excel experience required, advanced skills a plus
- Retail and customer service experience a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Exceptional communicator with the ability to listen and adapt
- Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced retail environment

Additional Requirements: Position requires occasional moving around with light (1-10lbs.) carrying, lifting, pushing or pulling. The position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access files, office equipment, etc. The position is mostly sedentary and requires the employee to have close visual acuity to perform job requirements. The position requires frequent communication with team members and repetitive motion with the hands, wrists and/or fingers while constantly utilizing a computer. This position is located within an office environment and is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
