What We Need
FLEETCOR is currently looking to hire a Cash Application Specialist within our ALE Solutions division. This position falls under our Lodging line of business and is located in St. Charles, IL. In this role, you will reduce and maintain acceptable levels of outstanding balances on Accounts Receivable, record client payments, and ensure that payments are accurate.
Role Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the role will include:
Processing Lockbox and Electronic payments received from Carriers against invoices.
Processing physical check payments received from carriers, vendors, and policyholders against invoicing and general ledger accounts.
Processing credit card payments and transactions.
Identifying and resolving payment discrepancies.
Reviewing weekly and monthly aging discrepancies.
Entering credit card payments in the GP accounting system.
Assisting client-facing staff in payment inquiries, adjustments, and discrepancies.
Supporting disputed credit card payments.
Assisting/Backing up other deposits.
Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
Prior Accounts Receivable or payment processing experience a plus
Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains experience a plus
1-3 years of business experience
A college degree is preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office Products
ACT database experience a plus
Attention to detail and accuracy are critical skills for this position
Excellent verbal & written communication skills, be able to handle vital deadlines, be very organized, have strong problem-solving skills, ability to multi-task and be a team player
Ability to concentrate and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
