Job Description
We are looking for an experienced program leader to lead program management and execution for various initiatives. The Director of Technology Program Management will build an agile delivery discipline within the Sales Technology organization. This position will manage a streamlined demand intake process for new and ongoing projects. The position is responsible for working closely with multiple delivery teams & business stakeholders. Accelerating the delivery of our critical initiatives, ultimately enabling us to deliver on business priorities. The successful applicant will have a proven track record of developing processes and systems to orchestrate the delivery of a portfolio of projects.
This involves working cross functionally with business stakeholders, product, architecture, engineering, marketing, sales, finance, and other teams, managing stakeholders, resources and timelines to meet expectations. You will focus on managing end-to-end programs, and be accountable to short and long-term business results.
What You Will Do
• Establish the Sales Technology PMO as a Center of Excellence; Set standards for project management competencies, methodologies, and tools; Define the PMO’s approach to the project lifecycle, strategy, and operations work.
• Lead and develop a team of Program Managers, Scrum Masters and Project Managers
• Run our Sales Technology PMO and lead all PMO functions including Intake, Project Management, Status Tracking and Visibility and Roadmap Development
• Oversee and be accountable for a portfolio of work that furthers strategic company and Sales Technology objectives; “Zoom in" to projects to help manage and course-correct as needed; Apply specialized knowledge of industry standards/practices to programs and initiatives;
• Define and regularly report on metrics and measurement for programs and projects within the portfolio; Own business outcomes by working with business area leaders to influence strategy.
• Communicate periodic update for sponsors and leaders for all Sales Technology initiatives: Create processes for communication of and visibility to program and project updates and health of all projects, programs and initiatives.
• Manage risk by continuously and proactively monitoring portfolio exposure and ensuring appropriate risk communication, escalation, and risk mitigation plans are in place. Report on overall health and performance of all Sales Technology initiatives
• Aligns program objectives and initiatives with the portfolio strategy accounting for any cross-program dependencies.
• Build and maintains relationships across the wider stakeholder community
• Help manage trade-offs and align initiatives based on business priorities. Monitors and coordinates dependencies across the projects in the program and resolves conflicts
Qualifications
This position requires:
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field
• 10 years of experience in some combination of strategy, program, or product management
• 5 Years of Experience Leading Projects/Programs in the Technology space
• Working knowledge of SDLC
• Experience with the Agile
• Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• 5 years of experience managing teams.
Preferred:
• Experience: 10 years of experience in Technology PMO, 5 years of experience in leading complex Technology initiatives & programs
• Prior Sales Technology, Adobe, (AEM, Target, Analytics) and Salesforce Experience
• Program Management Professional certification or equivalent is preferred
