Job position: Service Technician / Mechanic
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: WEEKLY PAY
Payrate: $28.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday (May have some Overtime and weekends.)
Service Technician duties:

Service Technician duties:
- Responsible for ensuring vehicle follows the Company’s safety standards prior to operating the vehicle, ensures that all Company, state, and federal regulations are always adhered to while operating the vehicle, and completes vehicle condition reports (“DVIR’s”) daily to ensure that any vehicle defects are repaired in a timely manner.
- Perform complete pre-and post-operation inspection of the vehicle in accordance with Company policy to ensure tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls are in proper working order.
- Report any safety issues on standard reports.
- Maintain a safe job site.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
- Good customer services skills to meet and exceed customer expectations; acts in a professional, courteous, and cooperative manner toward customers and co-workers; works with a sense of honesty and trustworthiness.
- Perform on-site repairs at customer locations on waste and recycling equipment.
- Correctly identify parts needed to repair units on one trip whenever possible.
- Fabricate replacement hoses and fittings when needed.
- Replace hydraulic cylinders when needed.
- Fabricate Steel Components when needed.
- Complete all required paperwork.
- Must have time management skills to ensure assigned responsibilities are completed efficiently and safely.
- Follow-through ability adheres to work schedule and follows through on challenges as they arise.
- Must have good time management skills.
- Ability to adhere to Company policies and rules set forth; promotes the Company’s safety standards; does not take inappropriate risks.
- Recommended experience in electrical (schematics/prints), hydraulics, and welding/fabricating
- Ability to Utilize MIG/ARC welders, Plasma Cutter, and cutting torch.
- MUST have Basic Hand Tools
- Must have good Attendance.
- On the job training to ensue.
- Driver’s license
- Must be able to lift to 50 pounds.
