Credit Analyst

Job Summary
Flex Fleet Rental is seeking a results driven risk assessment professional who can analyze a range of factors to identify risks and negotiate mitigations with our customers. The Credit Analyst will work diligently to ensure that all transactions meet the policy and guidelines set forth by the company as well as all regulatory guidelines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform all aspects of the credit granting process
  • Collect, review and analyze an applicant’s relevant history and records and oversee the new account process for these applicants from start to finish
  • Spread customer financial statements for review and analysis including credit memo write-up for approval and granting of appropriate credit limits
  • Understand various risks related to each deal and creatively negotiate with our customers using available tools to mitigate risk
  • Professional “Gold Standard” approach to assisting customers and internal departments through any credit application, terms change, credit inquiry, or credit approval issues
  • Perform internal reviews for credit limit increases or decreases
  • Assisting in the creation of underwriting standards, credit policies, and process improvements
  • Analyze and report to management on credit portfolio, identifying trends and weaknesses and making recommendations for improvement
  • Complete other related duties as assigned

Experience
  • At least two years underwriting experience and/or bank environment preferred
  • Portfolio management experience required
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics Navision preferred

Qualifications/Skills
  • Experience and strong understanding of credit and underwriting processes
  • Proficient in Microsoft – Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong written, communication and decision-making skills
  • Highly detail-oriented and excellent organizational skills
  • Proven ability to prioritize, multi-task with superb critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently and across organizational boundaries
  • Capacity to multi-task in a very fast-paced growth environment
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or similar field required
