OVERVIEW:

Flex Learning, LLC, an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) company, is hiring motivated, enthusiastic, and caring individuals to join the team. Flex Learning, LLC is currently hiring a nonexempt part-time Behavior Technician position (approximately 10-25 hours/week)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implement in-home quality one-to-one direct instruction to children and adolescents with developmental disabilities in communication, social, play, and adaptive skills
  • Receive guidance, feedback, and support from clinical director/case supervisor
  • Record objective, daily data/session notes to reflect client progress toward goals
  • Maintain effective communication with all team members and caregivers
  • Compliance to all related company policies and procedures
  • Participate in clinical meetings and staff trainings

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:

The majority of the work is performed in the client’s home

JOB LOCATION:

  • Our administrative office is located in Downtown Long Beach. The majority of our cases are located in Long Beach &/or surrounding South Bay Cities (e.g., Ranchos Palos Verdes, Wilmington, San Pedro, Norwalk, Lakewood, Cerritos, Los Angeles, Culver City, Santa Monica, Huntington Park, Compton). Additional cities in Los Angeles County may be assigned.
  • This position is looking specifically for a behavior technician that can service the El Monte & LA area

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess a minimum of a high school degree and at least 12 units in a human service-related field or Associates Degree. Possession of a bachelor’s degree in child development, psychology, special education, or related field is strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 6 months’ work experience working with children
  • Ability to communicate effectively using both written and verbal skills
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and valid automobile insurance
  • Bilingual Spanish applicants strongly encouraged to apply
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday 12:00pm-7:00pm & Saturday 9:30am-2:30pm
  • Must pass TB test
  • Successful completion of criminal history background check
  • Proof of COVID-19 Vaccine
