We are seeking someone to fill an immediate need for an Accounting Assistant / Accounts Payable.

This is position is full-time, permanent.

The primary responsibility of the Accounting Assistant will be to manage the accounts payable process from recording invoices to processing payments, and help with month end.

Duties and Responsibilities will consist of the following:

  • Manage Accounts Payable Process:
  • Process, verify and reconcile expenses with receipts
  • Monitor invoice approval
  • Setup up weekly payments and discounts
  • Verify vendor information
  • Schedule and prepare payments
  • Resolve purchase order or payment discrepancies
  • Prepare monthly journal entries
  • Back-up to AR
  • Monitor credit card and expense reporting
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Detail oriented with strong work organization skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbal communication
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
