We are seeking a skilled Demolition and Removal Specialist to help our Green Bay client on a temporary project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely demolishing outdated material handling equipment. This role requires expertise in heavy machinery, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demolition:
- Assess and plan the demolition of existing material handling equipment.
- Safely dismantle and remove equipment, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling of materials in accordance with environmental regulations.
- Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations during demolition and erection processes.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
- Train team members on safe handling practices and equipment operation.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other tradespeople to ensure timely project completion.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and resolve issues.
Requirements:
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor.
