The Quality Director role involves guiding the quality function within Flex, with overall control for delivering a world-class Quality Management System to the business and ensuring consistent, compliant best practices in key processes are applied across our organization. The position requires extensive interaction and strong liaison activities with internal management teams as well as externally with customers and regulatory agencies

The Quality Director role involves guiding the quality function within Flex, with overall control for delivering a world-class Quality Management System to the business and ensuring consistent, compliant best practices in key processes are applied across our organization. The position requires extensive interaction and strong liaison activities with internal management teams as well as externally with customers and regulatory agencies
What a typical day looks like:
- Surveys and evaluates future and current vendors
- Prepares and implements QA Policies and Procedures
- Reviews discrepancy reports and implements corrective actions
- Reports progress to customers as required. Maintains contact with customers to ensure their business
- Conducts presentations to staff as required
- Establishes QA aims and creates plan of action
- Discuss with top management personnel in formulating and establishing company policies,
- Evaluates content of reports from product assurance program department heads and confers with top
- Confers with engineering about quality assurance of new products designed and manufactured
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training
- 8 years of management experience
- Experience in medical manufacturing required
- Must have knowledge of relevant regulatory standards and applicable regulations
- Demonstrated skills in project management and ability to train others to conduct projects
- Master’s or MBA degree is preferred
