We are seeking a flexible, skilled leader with strong knowledge of lean manufacturing processes What will you like about the role: Growing company, hungry for structure and process Build and develop an expanding team Organization is accustomed to change and ready to drive more efficient processes and lean thinking What you will love about the company: Growth/revenue target is to grow by roughly 50% YOY for 2023 and then potentially double again in 2024 (the business is there, we just have to do it right) Anord Mardix is still a nimble, fairly independent business, backed by Flex corporate (20 Billion fortune 500 global manufacturing company) Large company benefits package Anord Mardix’ primary clients are in the Data Center market (very recession resistant) WHAT A TYPICAL DAY LOOKS LIKE: Responsible for direct and indirect management of all day-to-day factory operations. Pro-actively resolve issues as they arise and ensure follow through on corrective actions Manage production staff to ensure safety, quality/ISO practices/standards are maintained and daily metrics are met. Coordinate activities between Operations leadership and Support organizations. Leverage best industry practices and apply to internal systems and processes. Foster team engagement and retention activities in support of a world class workforce Coach and mentor Operations team in a vision of world class manufacturing. Lean; Work to eliminating waste and create value by reducing variation in the processes to achieve sustainable results. Coordinate with supporting organizations to ensure the proper level of support for manufacturing objectives Ensure factory maintains proper 5S standards to include the flow and movement of raw materials and preassembly parts to support manufacturing flow Trusted frontline effective problem solving; insuring roadblocks are removed to prevent operational delays. Skills Ability to organize workload and take initiative to solve problems Confident under pressure and able to handle multifaceted objectives Efficient with Lean Manufacturing methods of working Understand the workings of a modern factory and how to influence change Must be able to solve problems on the fly in a fast-paced environment THE EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING TO ADD TO THE TEAM: Bachelor’s degree required 6 years of supervising, managing and motivating employees in a manufacturing setting. Strong technical understanding of set up and maintenance of manufacturing processes, experience in validation, and Lean Manufacturing. Familiarity with the development and implementation of work instructions. Proven ability to work on own initiative, problem solve and present potential solutions. A clear focus, understanding and desire to drive improvement across Safety, Quality, Production and Cost Reduction. Ability to collaborate, create excellent working relationships and generate high levels of engagement with internal and external teams.
