Job Summary To support our extraordinary Sheldahl Flexible Technologies*, a leading provider of flexible interconnect products and hybrid technical materials, is looking to add a Project Manager located in Northfield MN to help build great products and contribute to our growth. (Sheldahl Flexible Technologies is a FLEX company) Reporting to the Director, the Project Manager role involves various aspects. What a typical day looks like: Provide timely cost estimation and project budget definition; recommend pricing, estimate lead time; and leverage team to determine alternatives. Responsible for maintaining excellent customer relations with both new and existing customers. Review new applications and provide technical support, participate in internal and external meetings to help gain a better understanding of customers’ requirements. Keep apprised of applicable application, quality and regulatory standards. Participate in contract review and price negotiations. Ongoing margin analysis identify potential necessary price adjustment opportunities and cost reduction projects, participating on teams as needed. Manage the coordination of product life cycle activities with team which includes Product Development and Launch. Support account management, customer service, purchasing, operations and quality on customer matters such as, Forecast, Inventory and EOL management, Capacity Analysis, Expedite Requests, Raw material issues, Non-conformances etc. Participate in the creation & maintenance of technical documentation. Other duties as assigned The experience we’re looking to add to our team: Effective technical communicator, verbal and written Proven Project Management/Leadership experience (7 yrs) Be well versed in the fabrication and assembly processes for electronics & flexible and printed circuits Competency on Quality management systems Trouble shooting/ problem solving skills Self-starter, Computer savvy, quick learner Four-year Technical degree.
