Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Senior Finance Manager supporting our Finance team located in San Jose, CA.
Reporting to the Director, Finance the Senior Finance Manager playing a key role in FP&A domain through various models and financial analysis supporting mainly through financial planning and earnings process. Responsibilities will include providing comprehensive, reliable, and accurate financial insights and projections, to support Finance FP&A management in decision-making and planning. Reporting to Director, Finance, this resource will support to prepare accurate financial reports for FP&A VP level and assist in the preparation of presentations that provide the executive management with timely & thoughtful analysis.
What a typical day looks like:
- Support FP&A VP with preparation of finance packages for business teams related to month end, quarter end, and forecast performance
- Provide extensive analytical support through management reports for Earnings Release process
- Assist management in formulating strategic and long-term comprehensive Business Plan by providing support in the preparation and creation of financial targets
- Support in preparation of executive-level presentations, such as BOD review materials, along with appropriate backups to bridge and support our financials
- Create standard tools and methods of collecting and disseminating key financial data
- Participate and help in the transformation project of our EPM into the next generation of 2.0
- Collaborate with Finance Center of Excellence team to provide analysis of financial data and related conclusions and recommendations
- Work on corporate projects and initiatives that impact the entire organization.
- Support and develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization, including executive leadership
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- Bachelor´s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field
- Requires a minimum of 8 years of related of relevant FP&A type experience
- MS Excel proficiency
- Deeper knowledge and expertise in accounting / financial / operational principles including complete understanding of elements of financial statements
- Experience in developing financial reports and metrics, through superior mastering of Excel and PowerPoint tools
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with various levels of management
- Ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining a view of the big picture and strong attention to details
