Flexcar is hiring new Operations Associates in our Auburn, MA location starting at $18.00/hr!
The Operations Associate is a key frontline employee at Flexcar. Associates will ensure that cars are prepared and maintained in a safe condition for customer use, and that cars are received, inspected, and properly integrated with our systems. This might mean driving vehicles between locations, assisting a customer, installing technology, filling the gas tank, inflating a car tire, changing a battery, and cleaning or checking vehicle condition. You will primarily be stationed outdoors in one of our market locations while frequently driving vehicles.
What You'll Do:
- Drive a variety of vehicles in all temperatures and weather conditions
- Clean and detail a variety of vehicles to showroom level expectations
- Assess vehicle quality and damage by using our technology
- Communicate with other Flexcar team members using a smart device
- Complete readiness and return checklists accurately and quickly
- Interact with customers and support their needs with your knowledge of the Flexcar program and local market nuances
- Work on various special projects - managing their moving parts, timelines, and stakeholders - as dictated by unique business needs in an emerging market
- Properly manage vehicle inventory, including organizing a parking lot and correctly labeling cars
- Address issues with vehicles to return them to customers as quickly as possible
- Maintain all Flexcar facilities and property to company standards
- Complete other assigned tasks from site coordinators and managers as directed
