What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Manager, Customer Communications position at Flexcar?

As the Product Manager for Customer Communications with our Customer Care team. You will be focused on building, iterating, and improving the communication pathways between customers and the customer care team.

What you’ll do:    

  • Build a communications portal that empower teams with an intelligent customer communication platform.
  • Integration of various channels into a cohesive communication experience including SMS, chat, email, voice, native app.
  • Define the operational best practices for external communications.
  • Design and Implement Intelligent routing of inbound customer communications.
  • Connect the dots across experiences using qualitative and quantitative methods to create a cohesive communication experience for customers and care team members.
  • Prioritize customer value and clearly articulate what's needed so your team can focus and execute quickly
  • Measure your team's impact on customer outcomes and company priorities
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with internal business partners other organizational needs
  • Execute on continuous improvement and innovation of processes, technology, and systems in service of customer success and satisfaction.

What drives success for this role:   

  • Over 3 years of experience in product management.  
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related Engineering field, or a related field  
  • Partnered with engineering teams to prioritize backlogs, writing clear user stories that articulate desired customer functionality  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills  
  • Familiarity with customer communication platforms is a plus. (Ex, HubSpot, Salesforce)
