We are looking to hire a full-time Nurse Practitioner to manage our infusion center. We are referral only and primarily manage specialty biologics. A more detailed list of responsibilities can be found below, but this position will be the backbone of daily clinic operations. Pay range is $110k-$125k with an excellent benefits package.

Managing Nurse Practitioner – Specialty Infusion Center
Position Summary:
Under the general supervision of the National Director and Chief Operating Officer, the primary role of the Managing Nurse Practitioner is to oversee and deliver safe and professional IV therapy for patients. These therapies include specialty medications for neurological, rheumatologic, gastroenterological, and immunological disorders. This role will be highly involved in creating and implementing best clinical practices for our clinical team, patients, and referral sources.
Required:
- Unrestricted RN license in the State of Oklahoma
- Graduate of an Accredited Nurse Practitioner program with current certification in Oklahoma
- Experience in the management of nursing staff
- Ability to travel locally, as needed
- Strong IV access skills
- National Provider Identifier (NPI) number
- Basic Life Support certification
Preferred:
- 2 years Infusion Therapy
- Experience managing patients on specialty medications (i.e, Immunoglobulin, biologics)
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the form of evaluating and documenting patient clinical assessments and initiating IV therapy as aligned with company, federal, and state policies.
- Prescribes medications as necessary to prevent or mitigate acute infusion reactions.
- Assist with the creation and implementation of policies and procedures that support clinical staff and patient care.
- Maintain supply and drug inventory to effectively support daily operations.
- Oversee and manage drug inventory storage per manufacturer requirements, including management of storage controls and any out-of-range remediation/remediation coverage.
- Oversee and audit prescription entry into the patients EMR.
- Oversee and evaluate infusion nursing services and the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure coordination and follow through in care delivery.
- Serve as the primary, onsite clinical resource for clinical staff and referral sources.
- Assists in the selection, orientation, and ongoing training of clinical staff, inclusive of other Nurse Practitioners, infusion RN’s, and clinical admins.
- Manages employees through establishing performance goals, allocating resources, and maintaining an appropriate staffing ratio for the ambulatory infusion center.
- Participation as a key member of the Quality Assurance committee.
- Assure that departmental staff (including other NPs, infusion RNs, and clinical admins) complete orientation, maintain clinical competence, and participate in continuing education as required to provide safe and professional services to our patients.
- Assures that all patient related documentation and clinical reports are accurately completed, submitted and/or filed in a timely manner, according to internal and external regulatory requirements and in support of the billing process.
- Assists the National Director and Chief Operating officer in ensuring compliance with all regulatory agencies governing health care delivery by monitoring onsite clinical operations and initiating changes where required.
- Participates in planning, decision making and implementation of office activities that affect the clinical nursing team.
- Communicates with referring providers and patients as needed to ensure timely and appropriate patient care.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
