II. POSITION SUMMARY

This role is part of a career lattice where our employees get rewarded and recognized for cross training and learning new skills. Team Members will be cross trained based on various tasks in support of production operations.

III. MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • Typically requires a HS or GED and equivalent relevant experience
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn ERP system

IV. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs various tasks in support of production operations.

  • Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks.

  • Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Builds productive internal/external working relationships.

  • Normally follows established procedures on routine work, requires instructions only on new assignments.

  • Must learn and follow standardized work that has been created within assigned role

    Utilize visual management

  • Developing professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.

  • Applying lean concepts, make and implement recommendations for process improvements

  • Other duties consistent with the general nature and focus of the position and/or the goals and objectives of the department may be assigned.

V. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

PHYSICAL AND COGNITIVE REQUIREMENTS

  • This job is a category #4 which means the team member is required to be on-site to perform their work. The team member needs to live within a reasonable driving commute to a FLEXcon NA Facility. This position does not require business travel.

  • Must be able to work overtime as needed.

  • Must be punctual, able to sustain attendance guidelines, and work hours as assigned.

  • You have the ability to read and write written work instructions.

  • You have basic math skills to read a ruler to measure fractions of an inch.

  • This position may be required to get certified to drive a forklift by FLEXcon and have a valid state license.
