IT Application Developer

Flexicon is a privately-held and -operated corporation that designs and manufactures bulk material handling equipment and systems. Flexicon's global headquarters is located in Bethlehem, PA in the heart of the beautiful Lehigh Valley, with subsidiaries located on (4) continents, each with complete sales, service, engineering, and manufacturing capabilities.

Summary:

Due to consistent growth domestically and internationally, Flexicon is seeking a candidate to fill a full-time Application Developer position in Bethlehem, PA.

The desired candidate will join the development team and be highly effective in communications, analyzing business needs, creating new applications, supporting existing applications, and troubleshooting common issues with applications and their environment. The candidate will be responsible for automating sales functions, interactions between sales and manufacturing, shipment, and other processes related to daily business management as well as migrating existing legacy applications to new technologies.

Knowledge:

• Knowledge and experience with a variety of software development tools:
• Microsoft .NET technologies – VB.NET, WPF, C#, Blazor
• MS SQL Server
• ERP Systems – Dynamics AX 2009 or later a plus
• Networking and TCP/IP communications

Abilities:

• Characteristics that will ensure success:
• Business analysis and related communication skills

Qualifications:

College degree in a Computer Science or Information Technology

• 5 years of experience as an Application Developer/Designer/Systems Analyst
• Application Development in industrial or manufacturing experience preferred

Title and salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Pay: $60,387.84 - $85,972.45 per year
