What does a stamping estimator do?

· Develop proposals, price quotes and other related information to meet the needs of customers.

· The Estimator also supports the Sales team.

· Focus on accurate price quotes of stamped parts and assemblies (for industries such as automotive, electronics, aerospace, etc.) to ensure customer satisfaction, as well as the company’s financial success.

Compensation: $65K-$72K

Shift: 1st

We want you to join the team if you can perform these essential job functions:

  • Must be able to physically lift up to 50lbs repetitively
  • Must be able to constantly stand, bend and twist for the longevity of the shift
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with coworkers and management
  • Visually inspect product and equipment
  • Respond to audio prompts

Basic Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Auto CAD, Solid Works, Pro E & CATIA software preferred
  • Experience with Job Boss preferred, but not necessary
  • Must be computer literate: MS Word and Excel
  • Strong conceptual estimating comprehension and analytical skills
  • Ability to work to specifications with extremely high attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-managing and required minimum supervision
  • Team oriented and time sensitive
  • Highly adaptable and a quick learn
  • Manufacturing experience required
  • College degree preferred with focus in Engineering, Mathematics or applicable study
  • Has a basic understanding metal stamping industry
  • Familiarity with various raw materials, manufacturing methods and processes
  • Has a basic knowledge of stamping tools, stage tooling and fixtures
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen
