Logistics Associate

Overall description of the job

The role is to support the Logistic team in Allentown, PA. Daily tasks are connected to the logistics of the American Distribution Center (ADC). Tasks will include administrative work in SAP, as well as some light physical work in the warehouse.

Main tasks

• Complete item enrichment in SAP for Production Order items
• Maintain Material Master data in SAP for FlexLink components
• Provide back-up for Project Fulfillment role in FL US and FL Canada
• Review and log FUS1 recovery hours based on shipping paperwork from all projects loaded, special external POs, FUS1 shipping, and SRFs of non-FlexLink materials
• Manage US Customs entry packages received from Import Broker
• Administer local US Customs & Border Patrol (CBP) requirements:
• Receive training to authorize CBP entry package validity
• Maintain US HTS code list in SAP
• Review monthly inbound entry report from K N, and inform K N if necessary changes must be made
• Handle CBP Information of Request (FCC, HTS code, ADD/CVD etc.)
• US HTS code conversion of outside buys (e.g. Montratec parts)
• Work together with customs attorney on CBP Customs Rulings

Knowledge

• Strong computer skills required
• Microsoft Office programs proficiency: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• SAP ERP system knowledge a plus, but training will be provided
• A high school diploma or general education degree (GED), college degree a plus
• English, written and spoken
