The Trade Advisory team, consisting of business consultants, lawyers and licensed customs brokers, offers advanced customs and trade expertise to help clients identify supply chain risks and cost savings opportunities. We are looking for a
Trade Advisory Associate (Post Entry Team)
to help build out our Post Entry team, who will mainly focus their day to day on managing and executing post entry filings on behalf of the Trade Advisory team.
You will :
Support trade advisory team with filing post entry filings, including post summary corrections and protests.
Monitor liquidation statuses of post entry filings and alert internal and external stakeholders as needed.
Maintain and update the PSC filings trackers on an ongoing basis.
Perform, coordinate, and support Trade Advisory analytics and reporting from a variety of sources.
Monitor deadlines and manage multiple PSC projects at a given time.
Proactively stay informed on the latest customs and other government agency regulations, ruling issuances, and industry trends that are relevant to our clients.
Ensure project timelines, statuses, and invoices are appropriately managed and delivered.
Coordinate and facilitate software solutions, automation of data analytics, improvement of SOPs, ACE portal access, applications, and integrations.
Interface with CBP and our clients and offer timely responses, elevating where necessary.
Maintain active communication with clients, customs and other government authorities, and internal stakeholders.
Support Trade Advisory infrastructure and administrative requirements.
You should have :
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college / university.
Licensed Customs Broker highly desired, J.D. or graduate degree a plus
1-2 years trade related experience working in house, at customs brokerage, consulting or law firm preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to stay on top of multiple tasks and projects
Expertise with Microsoft Office suite and Google equivalents.
Strong data analytical skills.
Strong industry knowledge including classification, valuation, duty minimization and avoidance strategies, government regulations and rulings, and other trade information.
