Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a/an Failure Analysis Engineer located in US Utah Salt Lake City. Reporting to the Industrial Engineering Manager the Failure Analysis Engineer, will be the responsible for Implementing and maintaining cost-effective methods of troubleshooting systems, software, and/or equipment. For Implementing Solutions on Critical items to propose to the customers and to keep in good health the failure inventories of the repair or manufacturing process. To keep and increase the Technical knowledge and work with education department to develop or make planning to train the technical people. In order to have a good flexibility between projects or technologies. To keep in good health the technician efficiency and effectiveness indicators. What a typical day looks like: Directs and/or coordinates electronic engineering and/or technical personnel in design of methods of failure analysis, testing and test control apparatus and equipment, or software and systems testing Directs and coordinates electronic engineering activities concerned with development, procurement, installation and calibration of instruments, equipment and control devices required to test, telemeter and record test data. Directs and coordinate the strategies of debug the fail product of the test process. Determines conditions and procedures under which The technicians are to be conducted and Indicators and phases of Debug Process. Interfaces and confers with scientific, engineering and technical personnel to resolve testing and troubleshooting problems such as failures of product or system malfunctions, incomplete test data, Failure Analysis Reports, new solutions, obsolete components data interpretation or coding issues. Analyzes and interprets Failures data and prepares technical reports for use by electronic or software engineering, and management personnel. Develops or uses computer software and hardware to conduct tests on electronic products and systems or software. Trains and instructs floor support, debug technicians and test operators on test hardware and/or software, failures solutions as well as proper problem solving techniques. Resolves test yield problems by performing analysis of root causes, developing and coordinating corrective action measures and monitoring improvements. Analyze circuits and topologies to identify marginal issues or compatibility issues between components Yield trend and pareto analysis to identify epidemic failures that required deeper analysis Develop and monitoring the efficacy and efficiency metrics to improve diagnostic process Provide technical documentation and tools for diagnostic purpose The experience we’re looking to add to our team, 2 years of experience in similar position Knowledge of the MS Office (Excel, Word) Data Analysis experience Ability to interface and communicate with different levels of the organization Here are a few of our preferred experiences: Electronical Manufacturing environment experience.
