WHAT YOU WILL DO
Flexware's Ignition team is growing and we are looking for a dynamic individual that wants to lead a group of highly skilled Ignition Developers as our newest Team Lead. You will have the opportunity to help guide and mentor team members along with being engaged with customers and projects in many industries. If you are looking to guide a highly technical team of developers, we want to talk with you!
- Meet 1:1 with your Flexdogs on a weekly basis
- Facilitate team meetings that encourage comradery
- Participate in and discuss Flexdog's professional growth goals
- Ensure proper balance of time utilization by Flexdogs - utilization targets are met, PTO is being taken, training is being utilized correctly, etc
- Responsible for own billable utilization

Ensure data integrity of projects and forecasting of Flexdogs is reflected in necessary systems
- Manage project assignments and ensure project budgets and timelines are being met
- Approve timesheets, expense claims, and invoices
- Conduct customer communications on progress of projects as needed
- Responsible for managing project schedules
- Assist Business Development team from time to time in customer visits and/ or assist and delegate proposal writing and project estimation
Flexware is looking for an individual that is willing to step in where necessary. We are looking for someone that is not afraid to get their hands dirty and be of service to others.

WHAT YOU MIGHT HAVE DONE BEFORE
Flexdogs are a rare breed of engineers. They come from varied backgrounds, but typically have some of the following traits:
- Received a technical bachelor’s degree such as Computer Science, Computer Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a similar technical concentration
- 5 years working in a manufacturing environment with technical competencies with Controls and SCADA systems; ideally with Inductive Automation's Ignition Platform
- 2 years of experience leading a team of individuals by reviewing their work, assisting in their career growth, and understanding technical work assigned to team
- Demonstrated ability to care for team members
- Demonstrated ability to manage project scopes and timelines
- Demonstrated technical competency in controls, SCADA, and/or MES solutions; ideally with Inductive Automation's Ignition Platform
