Flint Hills Resources is seeking a Product Analyst to be a part of a larger product team who partners closely with FHR capabilities to deliver on a Product Roadmap that transforms work processes through technology and data. The goal of FHR's Business Focused technology roadmaps is to create competitive advantage through industry leading data management strategies and leveraging data to automate decision making.

While this role offers remote work, occasional travel to our headquarters in Wichita and sites in Rosemount, Minnesota and Corpus Christi, Texas will be required. The frequency of travel will be determined by your supervisor and the dynamic needs of the team.
What You Will Do
- Collaborate with product management, engineering, architects, and other relevant capabilities and stakeholders to understand business objectives, customer needs, and user behavior to inform product development strategies
- Partner with the business to capture, analyze and document functional and data requirements to design solutions and develop analytics outcomes
- Ensure quality of product releases and deliverables through execution of risk mitigation strategies, including creation of test automation scripts, creation and execution of test cases, and regression testing
- Leverage problem solving and decision-making skills with attention to detail and follow-through
- Work across the organization to ensure we capture and fix data quality issues that are found in FHR's core applications
- Demonstrate strong collaboration and communication skills through effectively highlighting to business partners and IT teams on status, risks and roadblocks, and aiding team members in overcoming obstacles
- Create and optimize queries for data retrieval using Cypher, SQL, and VQL
- Assist in data management tasks, including data cleansing, transformation, and validation
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Experience working in a cross functional IT team to solve business problems
- Experience partnering with business users and customers to create acceptance criteria, user stories, functional and technical requirements for IT team members
- Experience using query languages (Cypher, SQL or VQL) to extract, analyze, and test data quality
- 2 years' experience in a Product development focused role
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience developing and supporting business analytics applications such as Power BI, Excel, MS Access, or other data visualization platforms
- Experience with AWS technologies including S3, Redshift, Lambda
- Experience with data and analytics prototyping/experimentation and ad-hoc analytics
- Experience with Denodo
- Experience with Neo4J Graph Databases
- Experience with data modeling
- Experience working within AGILE Teams and DevOps methodologies, processes, and tools

For this role, we anticipate paying $70,000 - $110,000 per year. This role may be eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
