Retail Sales Manager Job Summary
FLIP FLOP SHOPS is presently looking for a Retail Manager at their Dolphin Mall location. The Manager will help provide oversight for all operations at the location making sure the store functions smoothly while optimizing profits. Those interested should be responsible, dependable, energetic, friendly, customer service oriented individuals, with good attitudes, who are able to work with others in a fun, but professional environment.
Applicants must be able to garner respect and motivate personnel to perform at their maximum capacity while keeping the store in good working order. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of retail sales, staff training and hiring, merchandising, marketing, and inventory control/restocking. We are seeking a hard-working individual who is honest, trustworthy and willing to work flexible hours and fill in when needed. The Assistant Manager will report directly to the manager and owners and will be expected to help cover the Shop should there be an absence of an employee. This is a Full-time or Part-time position. M*anager Responsibilities include: *
· Help oversee all operations of the shop.
· Ensure daily that the shop opens on time.
· Make sure staff prepares all displays/signage, and counts and opens the register prior to opening.
· Manage employees by providing the proper training in order to maximize productivity and increase sales.
· Manage store operations and delegate responsibilities.
· Maintain the appearance of all displays by ensuring products are resized and restocked as necessary throughout the day.
· Greet and assist customers and staff in an engaging and professional manner, with a positive and friendly attitude.
· Maintain knowledge of all brands and know where they are located in the Shop.
· Be able to differentiate between brands, helping customers and staff compare and contrast differences.
· Answer all customer/staff questions and complaints in a professional and informed manner.
· Make owners aware when product/particular sizes are getting low.
· Check employees for accuracy with regards to opening and closing the register.
· Check deposits for accuracy and do daily banking when needed.
General Responsibilities
· Sweep and clean Shop throughout the day.
· Make helpful suggestions while assisting the customer in their decision to purchase.
· Conduct yourself in a professional manner and make every effort to close the sale.
· Handle all transactions with accuracy.
· Ensure customers receive their receipts and items.
· Make every effort to ensure the customer has an excellent shopping experience.
· Properly secure merchandise and follow closing procedures at the end of day.'
