Position Summary

The Supervisor will be responsible for planning, organizing, executing, and monitoring the replenishment of raw materials for sample conversion, inventory cycle counts, sample conversion and sample putaway.

Minimum Requirements
- High School Degree or Equivalent
- Superior knowledge of the methods used in ordering and maintenance of raw materials, and of the fundamentals and methods used in inventory controls.
- Strong leadership and proven effective management skillset.
- Effective time management skills.
- Quality control knowledge and excellent customer service skills (internal and external).
- Ability to operate lift and other equipment used in material handling around the warehouse.
- Proficient in the use of systems and technology involving enterprise systems MS Office applications.

- Train, monitor, evaluate and motivate performance of sample conversion and inventory associates; conducts counseling and performance management based on productivity and company policy adherence.
- Oversee warehouse functions for inventory and sample conversion programs.
- Continuous process and function improvement in rack and location optimization.
- Plans and coordinates process flow for all sample conversion and inventory programs.
- Oversee and manage the replenishment and stocking of consumables required in the sample conversion and inventory process.
- Support creation of SOPs and become an expert of the process and procedures.
- Monitor and maintain acceptable inbound order accuracy and manage exception reports.
- Communicate goals and performance objectives to the associates under his supervision.
- Other projects and duties as assigned.
Working Conditions (travel, environment)
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles.
- Able to operate forklift equipment, power tools, shrink wrapping equipment, and tools such as wood/wet saws.
- The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
- Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
- Ability to exert 10-25 pounds of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
- Ability to exert 20-50 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
- The employee is often required to use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
