Bob Wagner’s Flooring America has been Chester County’s premier flooring resource for over 45 years, with showrooms in Downingtown, West Chester, and Middletown. is looking for a Field Customer Service Technician who will provide builder, retail and commercial service in the field.
We are looking for a professional who is committed to exceeding customer expectation and dedicated to delivering personalized service. You must be self-motivated, detail oriented, masterful at multi-tasking and have knowledge of home construction.
As our Field Customer Service Technician, you will have an assigned territory that you will provide service to in the field. You will be expected to conduct inspections, oversee and troubleshoot any problems that may arise.
Although not an all-inclusive list, the following are some of duties and expectations for this position
- Doing pre-inspections of job sites prior to commencement of work
- Doing post inspections to insure proper installation
- During inspections you will be expected to be checking on installers and troubleshooting any problems that may arise
- Overseeing flooring & window installation in the state of DE
- Small repair work in residential and new construction homes
Requirements for the Field Customer Service Technician
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean Driving Record
- Reliable transportation
- Background and/or knowledge in flooring & home construction
- Ability to multitask
- Detail oriented and organized
- Experience in customer service
