E-Commerce Coordinator
Part time, 20 hours per week
Gain hands on experience while supporting FloraCraft’s E-Commerce initiatives by executing product merchandising and marketing tactics across our digital platforms to help increase brand awareness and sales.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the launch of new products on Shop.FloraCraft.com by assisting in data preparation.
- Encourage a high average order value on Shop.FloraCraft.com purchases by raising product awareness through ideal search results, leveraging upsell opportunities, and more.
- Foster a positive user-experience on Shop.FloraCraft.com by routinely reviewing the website, as well as analyzing and problem-solving errors that arise.
- Help identify new e-commerce and digital marketing opportunities by participating in data reporting and analysis using reporting tools provided in Magento, Dotdigital, Google Analytics, and Amazon.
- Update titles and meta descriptions as needed to ensure Search Engine Optimization best practices are being met.
- Support Customer Service and Sales representatives by creating reference materials, addressing inquiries, and more.
- Performs other job responsibilities as required.
Skills and Abilities Required
- Interest in e-commerce systems and processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with an emphasis on strong Excel acumen, and overall computer skills.
- Possesses strong written and oral communication skills and ability to communicate professionally and effectively, virtually and in person.
- Has the ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Has a creative, thought-based mindset and offers new ideas.
- Is a highly motivated individual with organizational skills and thorough attention to detail.
- Has the ability to quickly learn new digital platforms and the FloraCraft product line.
Education / Experience requirements
- Preferred two-year degree, some college, or equivalent experience.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, OneNote)
- Experience with content management systems, website platforms, and email marketing systems preferred
