Position Summary: Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Coordinator, Intercollegiate Athletics - Boca Raton, FL. Summary of Responsibilities: The Coordinator reports to the Assistant Athletics Director of Facilities & Event Management. This position will help manage all Division 1 Athletic Facilities, including all day-to-day aspects of facilities maintenance activities, including repairs, renovations, and scheduling. Assist with developing and maintaining facility policies and procedure manuals for each athletic facility. Event Manager for select Varsity Athletic programs (Men’s & Women’s Soccer, Swim & Dive, Baseball) and support for others as assigned. Assist with athletic facility usage in support of departmental and rental events, including but not limited to scheduling, planning, event coordination, set-up/break-down. Coordinate and schedule preventative and routine maintenance and equipment repairs at all athletic facilities and grounds. Conduct facility walk-throughs to monitor facility cleanliness as well as report and generate maintenance requests. Coordinate with the University's Physical Plant (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, etc.) for the day-to-day upkeep of the facilities. This includes, but is not limited to, janitorial services, minor repairs and upkeep of external landscaping.
