Position Summary: Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Director of Ticket Operations. - Boca Raton, FL. The Director of Ticket Operations is a professional staff member in the Department of Athletics with the primary responsibility of planning, organizing and directing all operations involving the Tickets Office. This position is responsible for the financial management of all revenue generated from ticket sales. Summary of responsibilities include: Create and implement ticket office policies and procedures following university and NCAA audit guidelines and Florida law. These procedures include locating established booster seating, setting season ticket prices, administering comp ticket programs, reconciling game day events, depositing ticket revenue and building stadium and facility manifest. Supervise and maintain detailed financial reporting for ticket sales and income for the Tickets Operations Office. This includes designing and implementing of reporting standards and establishing employee guidelines for accountability of funds. Assign season ticket seating locations for all active and retired faculty and staff and the general public for all home and away football games. Additionally, this position assigns season ticket seating locations for the Football and Basketball donor base--including home and away games and any post season tournaments. Develop and maintain relationships with off campus representatives regarding any concerts or events held at the Football facilities as well as other athletics venues. Supervise and train ticket office staff. This includes all policies and procedures regarding public relations, operational goals, accounting standards, computer operation. Serve as department liaison with students, faculty, staff, Alumni Association and the general public. Interpret all guidelines regarding NCAA rules and regulations concerning ticket sales and distribution, including complimentary tickets for prospective student athletes. Also to advise staff members on these procedures. Communicate with the Conference on ticket distributions for any regular or post season events. Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year.
