Controller

Cardinal Vending and Markets, LLC, is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to oversee the day-to-day financial operations and lead the accounting department. The Financial Controller will be responsible for the production of monthly and annual financial reports, maintenance of a system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results.. This position will also be responsible for cash management and risk management and analysis designed to identify opportunities to improve business results. The Controller is the financial business partner to the General Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Oversee all aspects of the accounting operations, including but not limited to, accounts receivable, accounts payable, month-end reporting, and annual plan.
• Manage the cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts in accordance with policy.
• Plan financial objectives by establishing annual growth targets, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
• Operational reporting that includes top-line performance versus budget and early identification of revenue risks. Monitors operational productivity of key functions and roles.
• Manage data integration of various reporting systems.
• Conduct monthly financial analysis to support commercial strategies and decisions.

Skills and Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or Finance; MBA or CPA highly desirable.

· A minimum of 10 years of progressive financial responsibility, preferably in vending or related industry

· Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.

· Experienced with accounting packages including QuickBooks and SAPBizOne.

· Strong analytical and data management capabilities

· High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-driven

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to present and explain financial information to non-financial personnel.

· Experience with developing annual plans, forecasting, as well as cash flow management.

· Strong change management skills, demonstrate innovation and creativity and an ability to influence/gain alignment across diverging perspectives.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
