POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: |
Applicants will assist summer camp coaching staff and camp directors in the facilitation of the day to day camp activities. They will be required to follow the camp safety policies and procedures to ensure all campers have an enjoyable learning experience. The responsibilities are varied in scope, but may include a variety of clerical and/or camp counselor responsibilities within a sport camp program. This position requires working with children and young adults, and if hired a fingerprint background screening will be required. |
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: |
Must be 18 years of age and complete all background screening requirements to include a Level 2 FBI fingerprint screening via LiveScan, completion of the Affidavit of Good Moral Character form and UF’s Online Youth Protection Training. |

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: |
A comprehensive background screening is required for this position. Once an official offer is extended and accepted, the candidate will be required to complete the federal Employment Eligibility Verification Form I-9 and will be contingent on satisfactory background screening results. The candidate will also be required to present acceptable and original documents to prove identity and authorization to work in the United States without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
