Description
In this role you will:
Be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to the staff in order to facilitate quality patient care and satisfaction. The key focus is to maintain excellent levels of customer service and quality of patient care to achieve a valuable final product. In the Therapy department the Valuable Final Product is a patient who has met their Physical/Occupational Therapy goals and has resumed their pre injury activities of daily living.
Key Responsibilities
Influence employees and shape their behavior to create work environments that are both positive and reinforcing.
Develop and promote good community relationships with both the physicians and area industry.
Ensure that all legal requirements are met for the operation of the facility.
Assure the appropriate practice of physical and/or occupational therapy at the facility in accordance with the APTA & AOTA standards of practice and the code of ethics.
Meet and exceed your clinic budget through increased clinic visits, and appropriate billing practices.
Analyze financial and statistical data
Plan physical rehabilitative programs to improve patient quality of life
Evaluate effects of therapy treatment and communicate patients' progress
Record and document patient care services
Collaborate with other team personnel to achieve well-rounded care
Assure compliance with all company plans, policies and procedures set forth by the Florida Orthopaedic Institute
All other duties as assigned
About You:
Post-baccalaureate degree from an accredited education program.
3 years of clinical experience in an outpatient therapy setting, holding a position in administration
Active State Licensure
Current CPR & AIDS certification

1 year of management experience in an outpatient therapy setting
