Summary
As the EP&SI Sales Specialist, you will manage both direct accounts and provide support and training to other sales staff. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in technical sales leadership, a deep understanding of environmental instrumentation, and a collaborative approach to assisting and developing other team members.
Responsibilities
Sales Leadership: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and increase market share within the region.
Team Management: Lead, mentor, and provide guidance to sales account managers, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain key client relationships, understanding their needs and ensuring the team provides effective solutions using the company's instrumentation products.
Assistance and Support: Provide training, guidance, and support to the sales team, assisting with complex sales situations and ensuring the team is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
Strategic Planning: Drive the development and execution of sales strategies, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market trends.
Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, technical support, and customer service, to ensure a cohesive and responsive approach to client needs.
Performance Monitoring: Implement metrics and key performance indicators to monitor and evaluate the success of sales initiatives and adjust strategies as needed.
Reporting: Provide regular and accurate reports to the executive team, reporting on sales performance, market trends, and team development.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
Extensive experience in technical sales leadership, with a focus on environmental, process, and safety instrumentation.
Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing sales teams.
Strong understanding of relevant industry regulations and compliance standards.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
