Summary
PRO-QUIP, Inc. seeks an Application Engineer with a Technical Degree to Support Customers and Field Sales Staff.
Position: Inside Application Engineer
Core Duties:
- Sizes & selects technical products & services, as well as provides engineering information to client base.
- Prepare cost estimates and quotations by reviewing customer specifications and other related documents.
-Respond to phone, and email correspondence from customers, manufacturers, and outside sales team.
- Gain customer acceptance by explaining product application including product features & benefits.
- Identify current and future customer equipment requirements.
- Establish personal rapport with customers, principals, and outside sales staff.
- Submit purchase orders with equipment manufacturers which includes providing technical & commercial information.
Additional Duties:
Contribute to team effort by supporting related projects periodically, such as Marketing Campaigns, CRM improvements or Website maintenance.
Education:
Technical degree required. Engineering degree, preferred.
Skills/Qualifications:
Good Written & Verbal Communicator, Problem Solver, Product Knowledge, Responding to Customer Needs, Technical Understanding, Service Oriented, also requires critical analysis & initiative.
