Personal Care Assistant (SHAHBAZ)

As a Shahbaz in our Green House® unit, you will be an integral member of a self-managed team responsible for providing compassionate and personalized care to a small group of elderly residents. You will play a vital role in creating a warm and home-like environment where residents can thrive, feel respected, and maintain their dignity. Your dedication to fostering meaningful relationships and ensuring the well-being of our elders will contribute to the success of our mission to redefine senior living.
Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
- Provide person-centered care and support to a small group of elderly residents within a Green House® home.
- Plan and participate in preparing meals for elders within the home.
- Plan and engage in meaningful activities that promote social engagement & activities.
- Create a comfortable, clean, and organized living environment for residents.
- Assist elders with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and mobility.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other team members to ensure coordinated care.
- Collaborate with other Shahbazim and team members in decision-making and problem-solving.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance caregiving skills.
- Provide personal care like bathing, grooming, and other daily living activities.
- Help residents maintain a clean comfortable living environment.
- Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and team members
Qualifications:
- Preferred high school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in caregiving or working with the elderly is preferred.
- Compassionate and nurturing demeanor, with a genuine passion for providing care to seniors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build meaningful relationships with residents and team members.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on the needs of the residents.
