Role Summary:

As a Linings / Coatings Operator in our production team, your role is to use a variety of blasting and grinding equipment to clean and finish raw castings in line with blueprints and required technical specifications.
Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Operate equipment such as heat treat ovens, wash tanks, sand blast booths and extruders
- Mix the lining (slip) for the parts
- Utilize overhead cranes.
- Grind raw castings to casting drawing requirements.
- Develop knowledge of set up of castings through internal lining process.
- Complete daily maintenance of equipment.
- Other duties may be required
REQUIREMENTS:
- Read and follow route sheets/Blue Prints.
- Work effectively with other associates as new tasks and skills are learned.
- Establish and maintain open lines of communications with all associates.
- Maintain good time management and organizational skills.
- Handle work safely under tight time constraints.
- Demonstrate initiative
- Work overtime hours as needed, including weekends.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Previous foundry experience is preferred.
- High School diploma or equivalent or prior formal work experience.
