The Regional Materials Manager is part of Flowserve's Global Operational Excellence team responsible for developing and deploying materials planning best practices, procedures, process improvements, and governance. This role will lead a team of materials professionals focused on maturing our materials management capabilities across our sites and divisions. By providing subject matter expertise on materials management processes and ERP system adoption and utilization, the Regional Materials Manager will engage with leadership and site materials teams to adopt materials management best practices and procedures though program initiatives, support, and governance. The Regional Materials Manager's purpose is to improve the Company's maturity and positively impact OTD, PDBL, inventory optimization, and schedule adherence.

Responsibilities & Requirements:
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement Flowserve's global strategic Materials Management processes for Master Scheduling, MRP Planning, Production Control, and Inventory Management at all sites within the region
Lead a time of materials professionals to provide coaching, development, and strategy deployment
Determine best methods to drive MRP processes in ATO, MTO, and ETO environments
Develop materials management improvement programs to accelerate the maturity of the function throughout the organization
Provide materials planning subject matter expertise in consultative way to drive materials planning process improvements
Collaborate across functions to optimize materials management processes and results
Act as subject matter expert in ERP system utilization
Mentor, coach, and develop Materials Management teams on process, data, and people management at the site and platform level
Create standard policies and procedures that will drive improvements in net working capital, speed, OTD, and delivery performance
Analyze trends, implement root cause analysis, and ensure continuous improvement
Report and monitor KPIs related MPS, MRP, Capacity, Production Control, and Inventory to ensure process adherence and effectiveness
Collaborate with cross functional leaders to coordinate improvements and partner to take corrective actions as needed
Requirements:
7 or more years of experience in a manufacturing, supply chain, planning, or related role
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or another related field
Demonstrated ability to coach and develop talent at various levels in the organization
Thorough understanding of ERP logic and MRP planning
Demonstrated leadership experience in roles that require strong influencing and change management abilities, influencing without direct authority
Track record of success working in a complex, highly matrixed organization
Demonstrated continuous improvement skillset
Commercially astute with strong proficiency managing, analyzing, and interpreting financial data
Able to travel within region and occasionally internationally, approximately 50-70%
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional certification in Inventory Management and/or Supply Chain Management
Certified Lean Practitioner
Collaborative, strategic, resilient, and innovative
Proficient in data analytics, MS applications, ERP systems
Been a part of an ERP deployment program (SAP, Oracle preferred)
