ABOUT THIS POSITION
Location: Hybrid - Houston, TX
The HR Ops / People Operations Admin supports the HR Ops team with the administration of programs, policies and procedures. Provides support and assists with a variety of tasks and projects involving onboarding, benefits and records management.
Responsibilities, on any given day:
· Coordinate the onboarding process for new employees and ensuring completion of required forms and documents and facilitating HR and IT orientation sessions for Day 1 start. Works in conjunction with the appropriate team members to create an engaging onboarding experience.
· Initiating and management of background checks
· Handle the E-Verify process for new hires, ensuring compliance with all applicable requirements
· Maintains New Hire Tracker sheet to ensure all onboarding tasks have been completed and are timely.
· Create and maintain employee files, ensuring that all documents, forms, and records are accurately filed and up to date.
· Assists with employment verifications.
· Supports recruiters and other stakeholders by answering questions or escalating issues that may arise.
· Provide customer service support to employees by answering general questions, providing materials, etc.
· Coordinate new hire onboarding surveys.
· Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate HR staff or management.
· Maintain OSHA documentation; support the filing of EEO-1 reports; maintain other records, reports and logs to conform to EEO regulations.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.

- 1-2 years of administrative experience.
- High school diploma required, Associates or Bachelor's degree in human resources management or related field is preferred
