The Director, Global Benefits will have global responsibility for our health, life, wellness, and retirement programs throughout the company. This position will report to the Global Head, Total Rewards and act as a subject-matter expert, working collaboratively across all areas of the organization to drive global benefits and wellbeing strategy.
Job Description:
Based in our Irving Headquarters and leading a hybrid remote team, the individual will:
• Drive global benefits and wellbeing strategy through design, implementation, and administration
• Lead and develop a team of Benefits subject matter experts
• Develop a strategic roadmap for global benefit and wellbeing programs
• Design and operationalize global benefit frameworks that are scalable for local markets
• Manage relationships with external consultants, brokers, auditors, and benefit vendors.
• Work closely with consultants/brokers globally to conduct benchmark analysis to identify industry trends to provide competitive and coherent benefits on a global basis.
• Design and implement communication programs to enhance the value of benefit programs and increase employee understanding and engagement.
• Participate in and provide leadership to various benefits committees (e.g., US Benefits Committee, Global Benefits Committee, Retirement Governance Committee).
• Partner with the Finance team to manage and evaluate the cost of all insured and self-insured benefits programs to optimize our global benefit plans cost and performance.
• Ensure compliance with all federal and international legal and disclosure requirements such as COBRA, HIPAA, and prepare and file required legal reports. Maintain benefit plan documentation including plan documents and policies.
• Partner with key internal stakeholders such as HRBPs, HRIS team members, Internal Communications, Legal, Finance, Tax, Payroll, and various Committees to ensure efficient plan administration and excellent customer service to employees.
• Other duties as assigned.• Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, Economics, Business or related area
•10-15 years of benefits experience with at least three (3) years in a leadership role
•Solutions-oriented with proven ability to work collaboratively in business teams; strong interpersonal and relationship‐building skills
•Strong written and oral communication skills to include facilitation and presentation
•Must be able to manage complex matters with competing priorities
•Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
